Requirements for DMCA Notice
To be effective, your DMCA notice must include the following information:
- 1 A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- 2 Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- 3 Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate the material.
- 4 Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- 5 A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 6 A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you submitted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- 1 Your physical or electronic signature
- 2 Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- 3 A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- 4 Your name, address, and phone number
- 5 A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of federal district court in your district
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, ASAHI Tools has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our website and terminate the accounts of users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
